Micael Baudin, R&D Expert in Digital Transformation at Seco Tools AB has a background spanning ten years in academia, followed by nearly a decade in the automotive industry, and more than seven years in the cemented carbide and tooling industry. Micael brings a rare combination of academic depth and hands‑on industrial experience. He works at the intersection of manufacturing, digital platforms, and data governance, with a strong focus on smart manufacturing, OT/IT integration, and traceable, high‑quality industrial data. His work spans everything from production systems and analytics to metadata, architecture, and the practical application of digital technologies in real manufacturing environments.
