Education and training

Within Sentio we will work to communicate and share learnings and results through education and training. Our ambition is to make the knowledge available and accessible to Swedish manufacturing companies, employees and students.

We have already started and employees from the manufacturing industry are welcome to apply and participate in two highly relevant courses at Lund University. 

  • Smart Manufacturing, 5 hp 
  • Metal Cutting, 5 hp

The courses have been planned so that it should be possible to participate in parallell with working. They are given on-line, in English. 

The next option will be Spring 2025 and the application opens in late September.

We are would also like to know more about educational needs and knowledge gaps in Swedish manufacturing industry. Thus, we plan for a survey during 2024. The partners involved will be Lund University, IUC Syd - Industriellt utvecklingscentrum and Region Skåne, in close collaboration with Teknikföretagen.
